In the sales pitch it states there’s some sort of insider signal that only insiders know about, which is also the reason why the course author can’t disclose his name, supposedly because of the confidential nature of the information……so obviously there’s no proof of earnings or wealth etc…mmmm.. well after studying several trading systems and now this one…I can safely say there is no insider signal in my opinion…..surprise surprise. Its based on the old school techniques of, support, resistance, channel breakouts, flag patterns, moving averages, triangles etc, on the Forex market. The patterns do seem to work more consistently on the Forex market than on the stock markets, its looking good so far but the course is very expensive to be taught about basic chart analysis. I traded yesterday with real money and made a profit, I’ll let you know in a week or two how it goes overall.

Caused a bit of a stir this one hasn’t it? (See other topics entitled Insider Signal, Insider Trading & Streetwise Trader). I agonised for about 3 weeks over whether to send for it (during which time I had no less than 5 separate communications from Streetwise to entice me) before buying from Fleet Street Publications, because I preferred the look of their guarantee(!!).
Picking up on comments in some of the other threads, the price has been described as seminar territory and Amin Sadak’s manual has been suggested as an alternative (I got that too a couple of days later and it does cover a lot of the same ground).
In terms of the seminar price tag, I reckon the course works better in the ‘Multimedia’ CD-rom format anyway. You might feel you were getting better value to have a guru in person for a day or two, but going from novice to successful trader is a steep learning curve that would make your head hurt if you even attempted to do it all in a weekend.
Perhaps a more relevant question is, at GBP2322 incl VAT is it over 40 times better than the GBP50 Affluent Desktop Trader?
It’s a bit like saying is a new Mercedes 40 times better than a 10 year old Escort – both are probably perfectly capable of taking you where you want to go, but you’ll get their quicker, easier and less stressed in the Merc. Or to put it in plain English, if you can afford it, I reckon it is probably worth it as the quality of the presentation and APPARENT quality of the info and support are as good as I have seen from an information product – and I’ve had plenty. I say APPARENT quality of the info (& support), as I am only half way through the course so far, have NO previous trading experience so it is VERY EARLY DAYS for me.
To sum up then, unlike some other more sloppily produced stuff I could mention, this course has been an absolute pleasure (so far) to follow. Needless to say at ‘decent second hand car’ money, it needs to be nothing less – especially given the state of my current set of wheels. If and when I start making money is too early to say, BUT the 30 day money back guarantee certainly works as an excellent motivator to make that ASAP!!!

It is very difficult in my experience to put the knowledge into action so as to actually make some money. I lost a few hundred pounds betting GBP1-3 per point. Andy X bets at least GBP10 per point which means even using stop losses, you would lose at least GBP300 each time you got it wrong so you need several thousand GBP if you follow his advice to gamble only a very small percentage (say, 3%) of your pot.
It is now very easy for me to see why spread betting companies make so much money and why 95% of punters lose.

I was sent an email from Streetwise/Streetrader urging me to click on a link that would tell me about how I could find out about a secret insider code that would allow me to make GBP1000s. I’m pretty switched on when it comes to believing all the hype, but for some reason (or good copywriting) this one left a mark on me. I didn’t do anything for a few days and then decided to put some questions together and email John Harrison and see what his response was. I got my answers within a few days and on this basis, and together with the 30 day money back guarantee, i decided I would give it a punt. I know nothing about the Forex or trading.
The cds came and I spent 2 -3 days rattling through each one. The course itself is brilliant. Well put together in idiot proof language and I must say I have never enjoyed myself so much when doing a course, as much as I did this one.
However being a total novice I’m not ashamed to say that after all 12 cds there had still been no mention of this secret person who was giving all the big boys and traders on the “inside” the signal to trade. At this point I did begin to think that this was just another sales hype and as always there never is a true get rich quick scheme. So back to my demo account, but this time I would act exactly how intended to act when I started to trade real money. But as of Thursday 16th Feb there are strong signals ( forgive the pun) that this does seem to be working. 3 days in and I AM IN CREDIT BY GBP136 using GBP2-3 trades. I HAVEN’T FINISHED TODAY.

I was not a novice when I bought Insider Signal, far from it. I had traded shares, indices and Forex on and off for several years and lost thousands of pounds! I had on occasion also made thousands of pounds but this all ended up back in the hands of the spreadbetting companies

Excellent, watched 13 hrs of step by step instruction. Far more useful than just reading a book on the subject because he has selected only the relevant points for discussion based upon his extensive experience, therefore having less to digest by showing on screen techniques, procedures from reading a simple chart, technical analysis through to setting up an account and suggestions of who to use for trading.
Still trading a demo account, however I’m confident of going live within the next few weeks. I was a former Forex trader and I recognize the value of the content so I am certain of achieving the GBP200 – GBP300 per day.
