before internet, all these biz opps were about direct mail. now it’s same old same old but using the internet.

ultimately, all these how to larks are telling you the techniques of the various methods of selling.

but, but, but………….you need a product and that’s the problem. none of them really shine any light on that.

waste of time and nmoney. do something you’re good at. most of these people don’t sell anything other than courses telling you how to do something.

i’ve never made a penny out of this crap.

In this manual Oliver offers a comprehensive guide to selling on ebay. He gives you the full run down from sourcing goods at low prices and listing them. He also gives advice on the bidding system, when to list, feedback scores and dealing with difficult customers.

He also gives away free reports which are 7 secrets of an ebay profiteer and 3 reports from the personal files of Oliver Goeler.

One report that is interesting is the one where he states that he made GBP1000 with no product. It shows that if you can find a free information source then there are great opportunities to be had from them.

I have not bought and sold a lot of stuff due to a difficult financial situation but the book is a good introduction to Ebay condensed into one manual, even though you can get most of the information on the internet for free

Recieved this through the post after purchasing online at Oliver Goehler’s website. After reading the blurb the idea of following a well known name was too hard to turn down.
The system arrived in the format of a book.Around 100 pages. The book descibes a system which in the end was a common sense idea.The ad for the product overhyped the product and found i had wasted money on another idea which was too ambigious.
I am not saying this was a bad product,just one that was okay and overhyped.
I have not made any money from this system.

Oliver provides several dvds which feature videos of him locating and sourcing goods to supply on ebay. He talks you through step by step how to get lower costs and sucure good deals. Each DVD features a different product he locates then sells on again. Overall i would say this is the best system i have ever bought, it provides you with excellent sources of goods to resell on ebay for profit. However i feel that now that this system has been on the market for a while now that alot of the products shown in the DVDs are now available on ebay and there is lots of competition. However there is still money to be made.

If you have already purchased and read Oliver Goehler’s and Ben Jones’ “THE PRODUCT CONTROL SYSTEM” manual (the foundations, for around GBP49), where Oliver explains the strategy how to profit from other ebay site seller’s product on the UK ebay site, then this will come as a back end product to you. I ordered it and watched the 7 main dvds where Oliver basically explains the same strategy, plus the other 2 dvds are practical examples. The manual is full of project examples. There are also 2 bonus dvds where Oliver reveals some little known wholesale websites anyone can profit from right away.

WHAT YOU THOUGHT: Having previously bought and sold items on eBay, I was excited to receive a letter from Streetwise Marketing telling me about a guy who had made lots of money on eBay (Goehler). I thought I’d send for it and learn the ropes properly. When the manual arrived I read it from cover to cover twice as its contents suggests. I became more and more disheartened with it when I realised it was mostly just common sense about listing on eBay. Goehler’s own speciality is finding and selling rare books. Fair enough…… but I don’t know which books are rare and which are not, and surprise surprise, Oliver does not tell you where to find a list of such books. I could go to charity shops and car boot stalls, but which books are rare and valuable? It’s like looking for a Van Gogh! So what did I do….. I listed The Divergence Profit System manual on eBay and sold it using the very same methods described in the book and I received a lot less than I paid for it!

WHAT YOU THOUGHT: As with so many of these opportunities, the amount of time you have to put into it is much greater than claimed in the sales literature. Whilst you are doing a full time job it is very hard to find enough time to follow through on the advice given.

WHAT YOU THOUGHT: At first I thought this was an honest deal but after paying almost GBP400 for the first book and second course (books & tapes), I realized there is very little useful information contained in the material. So much is repetitive and just copied from partial eBay listings – supposedly his own. He also suggests some practices which are against eBay’s rules I believe but says that ‘everyone does this’. What really turned me off was the third offer for a new course with 8 DVDs at almost GBP500. Considering how poorly put together his first two offers were, i.e. – spelling mistakes, awful grammar, thirty minute tapes with only ten minutes recording per side, and lack of any real substance, I doubt the DVDs will offer anything more substantial. If you have average intelligence and are willing to do the ground work yourself I think you can learn to make money on eBay without this system. He does not give you anything of substance that you don’t already know yourself if you are using eBay.

ANY OTHER COMMENTS: He comes across as an honest guy, gives his name and the media reports about his success. Maybe when he started out he was but now I think he has gone the way of others out there. He’s realized he can make much more money selling his ‘so-called’ insider information. Don’t be stupid like I was. Save your money and work at eBay with your own instincts, intelligence and perseverance. You may not become a millionaire overnight but at least you won’t be supporting this guy’s extravagant lifestyle in my opinion.

WHAT YOU THOUGHT: Excellent, well written, easy to apply if you’re willing to do some work, as with anything worthwhile. Very successful for me, selling old postcards and postage stamps, as well as pictures out of old books.
